Not so long ago, we already covered AI-powered selfies in our article. As we can see, the Meta team is not going to stop there. Recently, Meta announced a new feature: Movie Gen.

Its premise is simple: create a request for the AI and get a ready-made video. Moreover, you can also add elements to existing videos with Movie Gen.

See how Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg demonstrated it:

So it won’t only be able to create all new HD videos based on text prompts, but “Movie Gen” will also be able to edit your actual videos. Do we find this feature useful? Overall, yes.

Here’s what Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg thinks about the AI implementation:

“Every part of what we do is going to get changed in some way [by AI]. [For example] feeds are going to go from – you know, it was already friend content, and now it’s largely creators. In the future, a lot of it is going to be AI generated.”

Frankly speaking, we’re guessing Movie Gen will have a more favorable future than those AI-generated celebrity accounts. In our opinion, the feature is useful and could become a cool tool in digital marketing.
