YouTube Launches Useful Q&A Videos for Content Creators

Often creators face a similar problem: they create, shoot and post videos, and don’t gain the number of views they expected. YouTube Creator Liaison Rene Ritchie has come to the rescue with a series of videos on “YouTube algorithm hacking”. Read more about it in this article.

Over the past week, YouTube Creator Liaison Rene Ritchie has posted a unique series of short videos about YouTube’s algorithms. The great thing about these videos is that they feature YouTube’s Senior Director of Growth and Discovery Todd Beaupré.

In these short videos, Todd Beaupré shares the “secrets” of YouTube’s algorithms and what really affects a video’s success. By the way, here’s one of those videos:

There have already been 3 videos released in a similar format. In general, thanks to them we got the answer to the following questions:

1.  It doesn’t matter what the name of the video file is when you upload it.  What really matters is the name of the video you end up with.

2. The category of the video selected when uploading doesn’t really affect the promotion of the video and algorithms in general.

3. Tags affect the algorithms, so add not only key topics, but also misspelled words.

We are sure that soon the YouTube team will delight us with dozens of such videos that actually seem to be very useful.
