New in YouTube: Google AI Idea Prompts for YouTubers

Not so long ago, YouTube was already offering creators an idea generation feature via AI right in YouTube Studio.  The feature was built on the basis of user experience and analytics from Google, which guaranteed high quality ideas and prompts from AI. Previously, such “hints” looked like this:

All in all, this looks pretty good. But we’d be surprised if the YouTube team just stopped there. So not too long ago, YouTube updated the feature and expanded its capabilities. We’ll tell you more about it in a moment.

The updated feature is now called “Brainstorm with Gemini” and can be found in YouTube Studio of every creator. What does it look like now? What’s new in YouTube Studio? Let’s share a screenshot and tell you more about it.

Brainstorm with Gemini includes concepts, trending notes, and even video thumbnail suggestions to optimize the performance of your content. 

The new item can be found in a separate panel under the Explore tab. That way, the creator can click on any of the tooltips to get more information about a particular suggestion from AI.

What stands out in this update is the new approach to video thumbnails. We’re seeing it becoming more professional that could really help creators generate better content in the future.
